backINTERMEDIATE MECHANICAL DESIGNER
HVAC mechanical designer, for a mechanical engineering and consulting services company, that specializes in providing engineering design services for heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems, for buildings of all types and sizes. We design for additions to new building design, and design services for building renovations and additions. We design for projects like: Commercial, Institutional, Medical, Dental, Religious, Recreational, Multi- Residential, Restaurant, and School Buildings.
Requirements
- 5 or more years plus of direct working experience in HVAC and or Plumbing Systems Design, for building types as noted above.
- Must have excellent oral, and written communication skills.
- Must be familiar with applicable codes, like building codes, ASHRAE Standards, and Plumbing codes.
- Energy modeling experience and participation in LEED projects will be an asset
- Able to attend project meetings, and conduct site reviews.
- Have solid AutoCAD design experience. REVIT experience will be an asset
- Good interpersonal skills, and must be a team player.
