AScT, CGD, Mechanical Project Manager and Office Manager

ROLE: Rod's role as office manager is responsible organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Rod is one of the Mechanical project managers for projects designed by Aerius Engineering. He is responsible for review and recommendation of various options for HVAC systems. He coordinates client relations with Developers and General Contractors. Rod is actively involved with fee proposals and budgets, comparing conventional and geothermal systems. He also reviews construction matters with on-site contractors and design consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS: Rod graduated in 1995 from Camosum College in Victoria with a diploma of Technology and received his AScT (Applies Science Technology) accreditation in 2000. In 2002 Rod received the designation of CGD (Certified GeoExchange Designer - ID# 21528-507)from IGSHPA - International Ground Source Heat Pump Association, USA. In 2007 Rod became a member of The Association of Energy Engineers Senior Member (Membership # 19094) and Canada Green Building Council (LEED) Certified Member. In 2009 Rod also became a Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC) GeoExchange Accredited Residential Designer (ACC-DE-00395) and Canadian GeoExchange Coalition (CGC) Board of Directors.
