DEAN ASTREN
President, LEED® Accredited Professional
ROLE: Dean's role is the primary sponsor and initiator of the strategic planning effort. He provides executive leadership, direction and support to the strategic planning effort, meeting and communicating regularly with both internal and external constituents. Dean is the chief spokesman articulating the value and importance of strategic planning.
QUALIFICATIONS: Dean has over 21 years of experience in mechanical engineering design. His attention to detail in innovative system design and ability to co-ordinate the unique challenges and goals of individual projects are instrumental in the success of the Aerius Engineering Ltd. design team. Dean provides leadership and experience to the technicians while managing the co-ordination of all design components.
With his designing and project management skills, Dean is dedicated to client satisfaction throughout all phases of each project. Dean is committed to the goals and expectations of each client while providing cost efficient innovative sustainable mechanical systems that meet user requirements.
Dean became a LEED® Accredited Professional in 2002 and has worked on several projects following the LEED® rating system. In 2003 Dean completed designs of 4 projects that will be submitting for LEED® Certified or Silver levels as well as several LEED® Silver and Gold projects since. With his experience involving LEEDŽ® Dean is able to bring this to each project design.
